Julia Pike (fka. Walters) is a painter from rural Northern California, specializing in figurative works utilizing oil paint and charcoal. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Design in 2022. Upon graduating she was awarded the Manetti Shrem Artist Residency Scholarship and studied at the Royal Drawing School in London. Subsequently, she attended the Dumfries House as an artist in residence in Scotland. Pike has exhibited in galleries including San Francisco Gallery (2024) and The Emporium, Knoxville (2025). She is a third-year MFA Painting and Drawing candidate at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2025, she was a Fellow at the Chulitna Lodge Artist Residency in Lake Clark, Alaska. Pike is the graduate intern for Loghaven Artist Residency in 2026-2027 continuing her dedication to both creating and supporting contemporary art.
